Here at the far edge of the universe, even the moons
possess moons, vigilant in their trajectories, testing
the limits of devotion even as tidal effects render the system
unstable. Here we can submit to the inevitability of our two
bodies drawn near until they touch: Show me all the ways
my hands fit into your own, a phenomenon absent in our home
galaxies, an equation solving and then re-solving itself,
creating a center point around which we both briefly align.
